ACE - Suicide Intervention

E-mail Print PDF

When our Soldiers come back from war many deal with PTSD and some people that deal with PTSD come to a point where they think about killing themselves. Because we love our Soldiers who deal with PTSD we don't want them to kill themselves so we have to stop to look away. We have to remind ourselves that not everything is allright  when they come back home. That they do have problems and that they need all the support they can get. They need us! However today I saw a little card at my very own Soldiers place and I thought it would be nice to add this to our website. It is the Suicide Intervention card from the United States Military. Everything on there goes for any other military service, doesn't matter if british, german or polish if you have a battle buddy struggling please read carefully:

Wounded TLC for British Soldiers

E-mail Print PDF

Join the Wounded TLC and bring ongoing support during the difficult time when a British hero is ill or wounded. Team members send cards and letters of support to members of the British military who, after suffering sometimes catastrophic injuries, need to know they are not forgotten.

In honor of Stephen Ferguson

Stephen Ferguson was a Scots Guard serving with the 1st Battalion Scots Guards and deployed to Basrah, Iraq. He was badly injured in an accident on December 12th, 2007 whilst on duty downrange. He was flown to Selly Oak Hospital.  Stephen did not recover from his injuries.

Mission Statement

E-mail Print PDF

Inspired by Soldiers’ Angels, Soldiers’ Angels Europe was created in 2006 by Sandra Weiland to support non-US Coalition Soldiers. The idea is for non-US Angels to sponsor and otherwise support non-US soldiers. However, existing US SAs are also welcome to join these efforts. The only prerequisite for US Angels to sponsor a Coalition Soldier is to have already adopted a US Soldier.

Because donations to the Soldiers’ Angels Foundation are dedicated to US troops, Soldiers’ Angels Europe is dependent on its own fundraising efforts.
